The Senior Citizen Care Charitable Trust held a Regional meeting at Keshav Nagar, Chandan Baadi.
Discussions at the meeting focused on improving the quality of life for senior citizens living alone, and on mutual cooperation and coordination during emergencies.
Chairman Anurag shared that the meeting resolved to curb unnecessary wedding expenses, capping the number of dishes served at weddings to a maximum of 15–18. In the cultural segment, Bhopal Singh Babel, Jeevan Prabha, and K.L. Chauhan performed songs, while Suman and Kanta sang devotional bhajans.
Bhagwati Lal welcomed the guests, and Suresh Porwal proposed the vote of thanks. Chandra Prakash, Ashok, Anita, and others also shared their views on the occasion.
Attendees were also urged to cooperate with the ongoing SIR (Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls).
