The Senior Citizen Care Charitable Trust celebrated International Women’s Day with a simple but meaningful gesture from its members.
For the day, the Trust’s male members took over the household routine — cooking, cleaning, and the rest of the day’s work — so that the women of the community could be relieved of it entirely. “It was a small way of recognising what our women do every day of the year,” said Dr. Anurag, Chairman of the Trust.
Volunteers then gathered to honour the Trust’s senior women members, presenting them with flowers and gifts and extending wishes for long and healthy lives.
The celebration reflects the Trust’s continuing commitment to dignity, companionship, and mutual care among its members.
